Fine is a Copenhagen-based singer-songwriter and producer whose music blends samples, acoustic and electric instruments in a groovy, ethereal crossover sound that feels both familiar and dreamlike.
Her debut album, Rocky Top Ballads (2024), turns experiences into songs by cutting up and layering the band's improvisations. Melodies and voice intermingle throughout. The album features loose-wristed, head-bobbing drumming, a wide range of guitar sounds, bass riffs, reverb-soaked atmospheres, and real field recordings, all woven together with Fine's voice and distinctive lyrics.
Live, Fine reshapes her hypnotic sound with her band: Lola Hammerich on guitar (Baby in Vain), Andreas Murga on bass (Gorgeous) and Mads Muurholm on drums.
Fine began her career early, more than ten years ago, with the Danish electronic trio Chinah, which released three albums. Since then, she has co-written for NewJeans with Erika de Casier and Smerz, took part in Clarissa Connelly's Kanonschoir, and collaborated with Astrid Sonne under the name Coined.
