The quintet also explores a more modern jazz style through pieces by Kenny Garrett, Kenny Barron, and more. This line-up is sure to appeal to discerning music lovers as well as fans eager to experience all the energy and warmth of live jazz. The FJQ brings together five exceptional regional musicians: Philippe Cocogne — piano Sébastien James — saxophones Bernard Weidmann — drums Paul Frémont — double bass Jean-Claude Fortunato — trumpet & flugelhorn Expect an immersive, vibrant and generous concert within an authentic and warm atmosphere where improvisation, mutual rapport and collective energy give the music its full power.
