Freud se la raconte

What if Freud took to the stage to tell his own story? In this theatrical conference, Bertrand Hénot embodies a Sigmund Freud who is as erudite as he is unconventional, for a captivating and resolutely tragicomic exploration of the foundations of Freudian psychoanalysis.

With finesse and humour, the famous Austrian neurologist presents his vision of the unconscious, its founding concepts, but also its blind spots.

Far from a simple lecture, the performance confronts Freudian thought with narrative therapy and contemporary systemic approaches, drawing on concrete situations and clinical examples.

The show particularly questions how to support people who have experienced abuse or mistreatment today, without reproducing mechanisms of domination sometimes present in certain traditional approaches.

Between laughter, reflection, and awareness, Freud se la raconte offers a lively immersion into the challenges of the helping relationship.

Hybrid and audacious, blending theatre, clinical knowledge, and gentle satire, this show is aimed at both helping professionals and the curious general public, in an astonishingly light and benevolent atmosphere. Show for ages 16 and up.
