Overview
To mark the release of her new album ‘it’s just my opinion’, alt-pop artist girli will perform on the stage of BADABOUM in Paris on 20 October 2026!
For her third album, girli embraces an uncompromising authenticity, with a very clear vision of her goal. At the start of the year, she began writing with a specific aim: to make an album in nine months, documented in full for her fans. “It was entirely deliberate, I wanted to put an end to the fake mystery that usually surrounds the release of an album,” she explains. “I really laid my heart bare at every stage. ‘Friends, this is what I do, and this is the album it produces.’”
‘it’s just my opinion’, which will be released on 8 May, is a groundbreaking and musically coherent work that reconnects girli with her musical roots. It features the artist’s signature alt-pop, recalling her teenage nights out in Camden and Shoreditch, but with an ultra-contemporary touch for 2026.
