Overview
Michael Davie, known by the stage name greek, is an American independent singer-songwriter and producer from southwest Virginia.
Born in 2001, he developed his passion for music at an early age, teaching himself production, songwriting and singing, which he first practised alone in his bedroom.
His musical world skilfully blends alternative pop, R&B, indie and lo-fi influences, giving rise to a sound that is both intimate and atmospheric.
He made a name for himself online with tracks such as "When the World Is On Fire" and "Safety", as well as with his albums EXTC, ACCELERATOR and CEDAR'S TAPE.
Admired for his carefully crafted vocal harmonies, his immersive productions and his ability to fuse several genres, greek has established himself as a rising figure on the independent scene.
