Overview
After an exceptional 'back to basics' concert at Desertfest London this weekend, and in the wake of announcing their much-awaited fourth studio album, Necropolitan (released Friday 11 September 2026), Green Lung announces a black crusade across the UK and Europe this winter… the Dance to the Grave Tour MMXXVI.
Special guests on this tour will be High On Fire, with Gnome opening. The tour poster was created by the band's regular collaborator, Richard Wells.
A cult band in the truest sense of the term, Green Lung emerged from the London heavy rock scene with a self-produced debut EP, 'Free the Witch' (2018).
Drawing on a decidedly British range of influences—from doom hard rock to pastoral prog, through psych and Hammer Horror theatricality of the NWOBHM—the band quickly established itself at the forefront of the British metal scene.
Celebrating British folklore, myths and legends in their lyrics, they invoke the wild and bewitching spirit of their predecessors for a new generation. Catch Green Lung on December 14 at the Bataclan (Paris)!
