Overview
In UNESCO's plenary hall, Christine Audat presents HAMACA, a creation between France and Peru that brings together soloists, choir, orchestra and audience in a participatory musical experience.
Following the success of the Qhapaq Ñan and Glaciares concerts, which focused on Peru's tangible cultural heritage, the Permanent Delegation of Peru to UNESCO invites Christine Audat, a Franco-Peruvian singer-songwriter, for a concert in the plenary hall of UNESCO's Headquarters in Paris.
For the occasion she will present her latest creation, •HAMACA•, with Nicolás Agulló, a Franco-Argentine multi-instrumentalist and conductor, musical director of the Chœur & Orchestre Sorbonne Université (COSU), and Miguel Ballumbrosio, a Peruvian percussionist and dancer representing the Atajo de Negritos, a tradition inscribed on UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage list.
For this special concert, Christine Audat offers a musical experience in two parts.
The first part presents the musical group in a poetic and intimate journey, while the second invites the audience to share the stage with the COSU, creating a collective dialogue between voices and instruments.
•HAMACA• Songs suspended between France and Peru, an exceptional concert between tradition and modernity, a tribute to cultural diversity, a musical encounter between artists, students and the audience, for a lively moment of dialogue and intercultural sharing unique in Paris.
