Overview
With humour and reflection, the Gandini Juggling company, a world reference in juggling, presents a hybrid show blending circus, magic and dance.
With Heka, inspired by the Egyptian god of magic, Sean Gandini returns to his first loves and surrounds himself with magicians Yann Frisch and Kalle Nio to push the boundaries of illusion. THE INTENTIONWhen I was a child I wanted to be a magician. What I liked was the training.
The first part of the show is inspired by the universe of Yann Frisch. What is funny about Yann is that he has the opposite background to mine, he went from juggling and clowning to magic.
We were inspired by one of his early table routines, Baltass, with which he toured the world and won awards. The other parts come from experimental ideas by the Finn Kalle Nio. This is magic close to the visual arts and performance. Here again, what interests us is the gesture.
