Hoshi

Hoshi, the singer with the gravelly voice and poignant lyrics, is returning to Paris. Catch her on the stage of the Adidas Arena for an evening rich in emotion and melody.

Hoshi, whose real name is Mathilde Gerner, has established herself as a distinctive figure on the French pop-rock scene. Originally from Saint-Quentin, she first began to be noticed by posting cover versions online before revealing her own compositions. Her style is marked by a gravelly voice that is instantly recognisable, and by introspective, committed lyrics dealing with themes such as love, difference, doubt and personal struggles. She has built a musical universe all of her own, blending catchy pop sounds with more rock-oriented arrangements and moving ballads.

Her debut album, « Il suffit d'y croire  », released in 2018, was a success, carried by tracks such as « Ta Marinière  » and « Femme à la mer  ». On it she reveals a sensitive writing style and an ability to reach a wide audience. Hoshi then confirmed her talent with works such as « Sommeil levant  » and « Étoile flippante  », in which she continues to explore personal themes with a disarming sincerity. She does not hesitate to share her vulnerabilities, echoing the experiences of many listeners and creating a strong connection with her audience. Her career is also marked by her commitment, particularly to the visibility of LGBTQIA+ people.

On stage, Hoshi is known for her infectious energy and her authenticity. Far from artifice, she delivers performances in which emotion is palpable, alternating intense moments with instants of sharing with the audience. Her concerts are an opportunity to discover the power of her voice live and the depth of her lyrics, often backed by solid instrumentation that showcases her compositions. She knows how to create an intimate atmosphere while fully occupying the stage space, turning each track into a unique experience.

This appearance at the Adidas Arena is a fine opportunity to see her in a venue worthy of her stature. It is a chance for her longtime fans as well as newcomers to discover or rediscover the breadth of her repertoire and the strength of her stage presence. Expect an evening in which music and words intertwine to offer a moment of sincerity and sharing, faithful to the spirit of Hoshi.
