Carried by music that is both crushing and ethereal, Kris Esfandiari develops a profoundly emotional world where spirituality, trauma, desire, redemption and inner collapse intertwine. Blending monumental doom, spectral shoegaze and a constant gothic tension, KING WOMAN turns every track into an almost liturgical experience. Following the striking releases Doubt and then Created in the Image of Suffering, the project reaches a new dimension with Celestial Blues, an acclaimed album released on Relapse Records. + guest: COCKSTAR: THE SEX MESSIAH The solo project of French musician and producer Lecxi Doumer, COCKSTAR: THE SEX MESSIAH creates a maelstrom of industrial metal, dub and trip-hop, driven by a dark, physical and unpredictable approach. On stage, the project pushes this tension to the point of abandon, mixing sensuality, sonic violence and performances without a safety net. Also a producer for NGHTCRWLR, LYZZA, Pigbaby and Van Boom, Lecxi Doumer is currently preparing the first COCKSTAR album.
