Kinky Boots

Presented by A51 PRODUCTION in collaboration with SPJL Production. The hit musical from Cyndi Lauper and Harvey Fierstein, winner of six Tony Awards, comes to Paris: a whirlwind of emotion, humour and freedom! From 12 February 2027, Kinky Boots brings the Folies Bergère to life in a brand-new French production. Inspired by a true story and the cult film of the same name, the musical tells the unlikely encounter between Charlie Price, heir to a struggling shoe factory, and Lola, a charismatic drag cabaret artist of extraordinary talent. Together, they devise a solution as bold as it is unexpected to save the family business. Over the course of this human adventure, each of them learns to move beyond their prejudices and to break free. Carried by the catchy songs of Cyndi Lauper, the show blends emotion, humour and infectious energy. Among dazzling musical numbers, spectacular choreography and flamboyant costumes, Kinky Boots celebrates diversity, friendship and the courage to be oneself. Its colourful, generous world offers a genuine interlude of joy and optimism. A true international phenomenon, the show appeals to all generations thanks to its universal message of acceptance, understanding and tolerance. A festive and deeply human experience that turns every performance into a collective celebration. A new production in French, adapted by Julien Baptist and staged with an original direction by Christopher Lopez.
