Move Me Once More - Le dernier Cabaret

Experience Benjamin Millepied at the Folies Bergère: an exclusive evening with two shows from among his three new creations, a ballet of your choice followed by a blazing contemporary cabaret.

The evening opens at 7pm with a ballet to choose from: Barbara, Du bout des lèvres, in which the bodies move through Barbara's work as one passes through an entire lifetime, revealing tenderness, passion and memory in a jubilant, spare dance; and Summerland, a luminous ballet set to the music of November Ultra, which unfolds a gentle, sensitive and poetic world. At 9pm, Move Me Once More, a cabaret co-written with Léa Mysius, stages a party electrified by bodies, voices and lights, where a community is reborn from a future without memory and affirms what matters most: loving, dancing and celebrating freedom.

Move Me Once More invites the audience to experience an exhilarating night in which desire, celebration and freedom take centre stage. In a world where every existence is under surveillance, River, an elusive young woman played by Noée Abita, has erased every trace of her identity. Arrested, she is imprisoned and then subjected to interrogation. As memories, fantasies and hallucinations blend together, she relives her absolute love story with Ange, a free, defiant and elusive figure, as well as the clandestine life of a community of outsiders who refuse to conform to established rules. Through a sensual, dazzling and tragic cabaret, suspended between dream and reality, the story unfolds as a journey in which love reveals itself by turns as a force of life and of destruction, leading to loss, madness and then the reinvention of the self.
