For the release of her first album, l'Êtrangère (Eugénie Mérieau) invites you to celebrate the end of the world (and her thirties) at Supersonic Records in Bastille, to discover a sweet electric fusion between post-rock and lyrical French chanson, with echoes sometimes folk, sometimes punk: PJ Harvey in French, Barbara with a touch of Bérurier.
After unveiling her first track "Bientôt la fin du monde" on Radio Nova's Dernière, touring all over France, opening for Les Fatals Picards, and sharing the stage with Jeanne Added, all solo with her baritone guitar, looper, and drum machine, l'Êtrangère returns with a full 4-piece band (Chloé Legrand, Jeremy Lainé, Julien Rosa) to unveil her first album, vous écris en cours de chute - If you like looping guitars, reverb-drenched drums, 48-bar bass breaks, and twenty-minute songs (without solos), and especially revolutionary poetry, come electrify your post-heatwave melancholy with l'Êtrangère and her excellent musicians.
Spoiler: there will also be a surprise performance and some mystery guests.
