Overview
La CCVL (L-R-25-1481/3-015785) presents, in agreement with: La Ferme!
Productions & Encore Un Tour THE CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS 20 December 2026 17:00 Unreserved seating - Single category - Seated Composed by Camille Saint-Saëns in 1886, "The Carnival of the Animals" is a suite for instrumental ensemble that has become a classic of children's music.
The version offered here, performed by 10 instrumentalists, consists of the fifteen successive movements of the suite, each of which in its own way presents an animal (or a family of animals) through music and original texts, custom-written and performed by Alex Vizorek.
Suitable for young and old alike, these texts feature the characteristic style and humor of the comedian. The whole is further enhanced by live illustrations created by visual artist Karo Pauwels.
From the lion's royal march to the birds' aviary, via the giant aquarium or the fossils, the originality of this Carnival lies in its unpublished texts and its augmented reality video setup designed to offer spectators an immersive and captivating experience.
An astonishing and magical journey to the rhythm of a zoological delirium, funny and enchanting.
