Inspired by the world of Le Livre de la Jungle, the Trio Journal Intime turns the film's famous soundtrack into a musical playground as inventive as it is zany. On stage, the three musicians are joined by a dancer playing an irresistible Mowgli and by a performer-stage manager who takes part in this joyful adventure.
Blending miniature brass band, visual theatre, dance and ingeniously cobbled-together special effects, the characters imagined by Rudyard Kipling come to life in a succession of slapstick tableaux. Without a single word, yet with incredible inventiveness, the show evokes the spirit of great comedy films and the wonder of childhood adventures. Part concert, part zany ballet, part poetic epic, this creation celebrates the joy of play, imagination and sharing. An irresistible family show that takes young and old alike on a musical celebration as funny as it is exhilarating. Suitable from age 6.
