Money is like crabs: the less you have, the harder you cling.

Sébastien Maurond is an honest man. He lives on a shoestring in a makeshift flat share with Sarah, a failed writer, and Quentin, a compulsive noughts and crosses player. But one day Sébastien finds a 50-euro note at the front door. Naively assuming it belongs to one of his flatmates, he hurries to give it back to them. But it isn't theirs... And so the trouble begins. Sébastien is determined to track down the owner of the note, Sarah wants the money to go into the communal pot, and Quentin finds it unthinkable that they shouldn't profit from it and that Sébastien would try to return this money to a person he doesn't know from Adam. A quiet day is about to turn into a full-blown settling of scores.

Mix-ups, dirty tricks and betrayals are on the agenda in this outlandish comedy, where a simple 50-euro note reveals the true personalities of each of them. One thing is certain... Money doesn't bring happiness to the poor.
