Overview
A coming-of-age fable, both poetic and political, about the power of stories, resistance and the strength of the imagination.
King Ivar keeps his people in fear: dragons prowl the land and threaten the safety of the kingdom. To protect himself, the sovereign plunges the country into darkness and locks it inside an immense cage.
When Georges, the king's son, disappears, the young Sabra sets out on a journey during which she discovers the power of images, shadows and stories. Together, the two children learn to outwit the lies that imprison people and to invent an art capable of freeing minds.
