Overview
Screening and concert by the school orchestra.
Perched at 1,600 metres above sea level in the tiny hamlet of La Gurraz (35 inhabitants), in Haute Tarentaise, is France's smallest school: eight pupils, from nursery to CM2, one single place of learning and living.
The film follows, across the seasons and the school year, the lives of these children, their sole teacher and their families, who each year face the same question: for want of enough pupils, will the school close? Discover their story and that of their school orchestra.
