Overview
We know all these timeless hits by heart, and yet we rediscover them in a whole new light.
Offbeat and inventive, Macadam Farmer gives the most famous artists (AC/DC, the Bee Gees, the Beatles, Cyndi Lauper, Queen, Prince, and more) a flavour redolent of the American South and the bayous of Louisiana.
With an original line-up — vocals, guitar, harmonica, banjo, sousaphone, washboard — Macadam Farmer invites everyone to a pure moment of joy. With a smile on their faces, the audience goes from one surprise to the next!
The first album, "Macadam Farmer 1 - Tainted Love", was released at the end of May 2024 on the Frémeaux & Associés label, distributed by Socadisc. " Paris Move, May 2024. "Packed house, thunderous applause, active audience participation every time the singer called for it...
It has to be said, beneath their laid-back, comic exterior, these five rascals are seriously good musicians!... " Alain Hiot, Zicazic, Nov. 2024. Running time: 1h30. Age: 7+
