Overview
Presented by the Town of Arès Back with Sous le Poids des Plumes in 2022, they return this season with Macéra! A choreographic piece for 7 performers, Macéra, meaning "odyssey" in Turkish, invites us on a physical and spiritual inward journey.
Inspired by travel accounts and life stories, this spellbinding show stirs emotion and deep reflection. Every movement opens the way to new horizons and creates a space where the imagination can unfold.
A reworking of hip-hop, Macéra explores the duality between spirituality and materialism, desire and pleasure, while questioning humankind's place in the world. Steeped in ethnic and traditional influences, dance here becomes a powerful means of communication.
Through this piece, embrace life's adventure with passion, curiosity and intensity!
