Overview
From age 10. By Mounia Nassangar. How do you live with the blockages that run through our bodies? With STUCK, her first choreographic creation, Mounia Nassangar explores what surfaces when words are no longer enough and dance takes over.
Revealed to the wider public in Jean-Paul Gaultier and Climax's Fashion Freak Show and in Gaspar Noé's Climax, the artist draws on the history of whacking, a dance style born in the gay Afro and Latino clubs of 1970s America, to create an intense, liberating piece.
Carried by electro, house and techno sounds, five performers with singular life stories move through a powerful choreography, in which dance attacks the music, twists it and turns it into a true cry of freedom.
