Overview
A dragon mum, a brave child, and many ideas for taming anger. A solo performance at the crossroads of theatre, visual art, and storytelling, Maman Dragonne invites you into the world of Maggie, a child whose mother transforms into a dragon.
Faced with this consuming anger, the little girl invents worlds to protect herself: she dives underwater, draws, paints, transforming fear into images. Written and directed by Aurélie Namur, the play delicately explores these overflowing emotions, in children and adults alike.
On a stage covered with an immense white sheet and in a setting that fosters intimacy, the actress paints live, creating a moving fresco, while music and sounds compose the child's inner landscape.
Maman Dragonne is a powerful and restorative fable that opens wide the doors of imagination.
