Martine Au Bruit invite Alex Kassian & Kléo.

Martine Au Bruit is back for a new year with a high-flying line-up. On Saturday 10 October, we welcome one of the major figures of the European underground house scene, if not the world: Alex Kassian.

Following last year's missed appointment, he is delighted to reschedule his date with the Lille audience. Coming from a background in contemporary music for dance and theatre, Alex is the champion of a sophisticated, organic and deeply cinematic universe.

His music, both precise and spontaneous, is designed to induce states of trance and sensory elevation. A true out-of-body journey aimed at the most demanding ravers.

As a solo artist, he has released several projects on benchmark labels such as Love On The Rocks (run by Paramida) and Utopia Records (founded by Alex Bradley). Alongside Hiroaki OBA, he also forms the duo Opal Sunn, which has been running its own label, Planet Sundae, since 2017.

Their self-released EPs quickly caught the attention of emblematic figures of the electronic scene, such as Andrew Weatherall and DJ Sprinkles. As a DJ, Alex Kassian is a passionate digger, always in search of rare sounds, subtle progressions and strong emotions.

He will take command of the Main Room (Downstairs) from opening until the early hours of the morning, before handing over to our resident Brunzi, who is already deep into his record selection for the occasion.

In our second room, Upstairs, we welcome the French DJ, producer and label manager: Kléo.

Trained in the technical demands of vinyl, her sets span the entire spectrum of House, paying tribute to the heritage of dance music's holy trinity of cities: Chicago, New York and Detroit — deeply rooted in the Black traditions of Disco, Funk, Soul and Jazz.

Kléo embodies the essence of House culture as a movement of resilience, founded on the conviction that music and dance can
