Mathieu Madénian

"Laugh until you cry" is the promise Mathieu Madenian makes with this fourth and brand-new show, in which he recounts, with his remarkable sense of self-deprecation, how his life and his deepest certainties were turned upside down by the late arrival of his first child. Over one hour delivered at a brisk pace, Mathieu takes us on a plunge into the turbulent world of a newly minted father who tries to juggle the absurdity of a world on the brink of chaos while learning the ropes of fatherhood.

How can he reconcile his traditional upbringing with the new wave of modern fatherhood? How does he explain the concepts of gender to his son... when he cannot even get the hang of TikTok? And above all, how can he avoid being taken for a hopelessly out-of-touch boomer?

With his unique talent for turning everyday life into comedy, Mathieu offers a show in which he talks about his mistakes, his failures, and the lessons he draws from his little boy, who, barely born, already seems to know more about life than he does. A hilarious and touching journey in which Mathieu presents what is at once his most personal and his most universal show.
