Modern Oli

Modern Oli, an artist from East London, unveils with One of Those Faces a debut single as catchy as it is distinctive, deftly blending British indie and contemporary pop.

Brought to wider public attention through his acting roles, notably in the Netflix series Bridgerton and on stage in American Psycho, he now embarks on a new musical chapter.

Written on New Year's Eve 2024 and recorded live at the legendary British Grove Studios, this track embodies an approach that is both spontaneous and ambitious.

Surrounded by talented musicians and collaborators, Modern Oli builds a rich sound world, blending live instruments, experimental textures and influences ranging from The 1975 to David Bowie.

With One of Those Faces, he explores, with humour and clear-sightedness, questions of identity, recognition and one's place in the creative industry.

Between irony and sincerity, the track captures that universal feeling of wanting to be seen, to be recognised, while stepping back to view that very quest with perspective.

Carried by an energy both introspective and light, Modern Oli delivers a promising debut track, where ambition and self-deprecation coexist with subtlety.

After a first sold-out show in London and several well-received performances, he is establishing himself as a new artist to watch closely. Join him on 1 October 2026 at Supersonic Records in Paris to discover this blossoming world live on stage.
