Overview
From "Le poinçonneur des lilas" to "La Javanaise", from "Elisa" to "Les Goémons", come and (re)discover the repertoire of the man with the cabbage head. Julien Sigalas is a singer-songwriter and performer, as well as an actor.
Etienne Champollion is a multi-instrumentalist, moving from piano to accordion with virtuosity. For nearly ten years, the two companions have been performing Brel, Brassens, and Renaud on stage.
Covering Gainsbourg, highlighting the beauty of his melodies and the power of his words, seemed like an obvious choice to them. Together, they have created a show that is faithful to the artist, both poetic and iconoclastic. Beautiful, melancholic, powerful, often funny....
You will find Gainsbourg without mimicry or artifice. The interpretation is personal, but the emotion remains universal. Gainsbourg, Gainsbarre... What if the authenticity of the man was simply found in the power of his songs?
