MUNE composes from his tiny house nestled in the dunes of the Cotentin. Here, there is no studio with padded walls: just the wind, the ocean and a writing that draws on images still damp with dreams. His supple, airy voice possesses a rare range. One thinks of the subtlety of Agnes Obel, of the dark sensuality of Tamino. MUNE charts a different course, however: an inhabited folk pop in which fragility and wild vitality answer each other. An actor and holder of two master's degrees in musicology, his research on surrealism and his cinematic sensibility infuse a music that tells stories as much as it lets you see. In 2025, he released Assis au bord du monde, a debut EP praised for its poetic force. On stage, MUNE deploys an immersive universe, accompanied by a moon-shaped instrument that triggers sounds and textures. His live videos, filmed in threatened landscapes, extend this sensitive commitment. With MUNE, you close your eyes to see better.
