Muriel Montossey
What would marriage be without mothers-in-law? A dream for some, a nightmare for others!
Overview
What would marriage be without mothers-in-law? A dream for some, a nightmare for others!
In "Belle-mère à vendre" (Mother-in-Law for Sale), a vibrant comedy, we meet a cantankerous mother-in-law, as unbearable as she is cumbersome, who makes her daughter-in-law's life a living hell.
Insensitive, authoritarian, and overbearing, she cares nothing for the feelings of the woman who shares her son's life. But if no one would want such a mother-in-law in their home, imagine for a moment... if you could sell her!
Between misunderstandings, plot twists, and hilarious surprises, this play promises bursts of laughter in every scene. The character finds herself caught in a whirlwind of events as absurd as they are unexpected, where everyone tries to come out on top.
A sharp and fast-paced comedy that asks a universal question: is marriage really worth it if it means inheriting a mother-in-law like that? Get ready for a memorable evening, full of laughter and irresistibly funny situations!
