Nia Archives

British producer and DJ Nia Archives takes to the stage at CENTQUATRE to present her jungle and drum and bass compositions.

Nia Archives has established herself as a central figure in the revival of British jungle. Originally from Leeds and based in London, the artist first gained recognition in the early 2020s through a series of acclaimed EPs, including Headz Gone West and Forbidden Feelingz, before releasing her debut studio album, Silence Is Loud. Her music updates 1990s tropes by blending fast drum and bass tempos, heavy basslines, and neo-soul vocal textures recorded by the artist herself, all tinged with dub and dancehall influences.

On stage, the set revolves around dynamic DJ mixes performed on decks, often accompanied by live vocal performances. The show highlights sound system culture with a direct and rhythmic approach designed to get the crowd dancing. This Parisian stop is aimed at fans of British electronic music and breakbeat sounds.

CENTQUATRE offers a space well-suited to this concert format, with a sound volume designed to restore the power of the bass. The venue's layout allows for close proximity to the stage, encouraging both attentive listening to production subtleties and the crowd dynamics typical of club nights.
