Opus 4

Le Melville welcomes the Opus 4 project, bringing together Serge Camps, Pierre Procoudine Gorsky, Bruno Ossola and Piotr Sapieja around compositions with blues, country and folk influences.

This acoustic ensemble highlights composition and arrangement work centred on traditional American sounds, intersecting the guitar, banjo and vocal harmonies. The repertoire performed on stage draws on the roots of rural blues, early country and melodic folk, offering a faithful reinterpretation of the repertoires of these genres. The musicians share a common taste for instrumental simplicity and closeness to the audience, in a streamlined format that prioritises the clarity of the melodies and the texture of the string instruments.

On stage, the band delivers an intimate and interactive set, where each musician takes turns leading the pieces depending on the instruments and arrangements.
