Orchestres en scène

Twice a year, the Conservatoire's orchestras take over the Salle Rossini to share with audiences the fruits of their collective work. From January to June, these events showcase the commitment of the students, the richness of the repertoire and the ever-renewed pleasure of making music together.

In January and June, the Conservatoire's orchestras come together on the stage of the Salle Rossini for two concerts built around sharing, discovery and the pleasure of playing together.

In January, the wind band and the brass & percussion ensemble present a programme of bright, resonant sonorities, drawing on original repertoire, iconic works, film music and contemporary creations.

In June, the wind band joins the second-cycle string orchestra, conducted by Frédéric Lubiatto, for a new orchestral event, bringing together the colours and energies of wind and string instruments.

Collective practice allows young musicians to develop their listening, their musicality and their sense of ensemble, while discovering the demands and pleasures of orchestral playing. These concerts thus celebrate the work of the students and their teachers and bring to the stage a generous, demanding ensemble music that is accessible to all.
