Parisian Time Step

Presented by 5B Concept. Treat yourself to a delightful evening with Parisian Time Step, a charming cabaret show in which music, French songs and tap dancing blend perfectly. Travel back in time through French music and let yourself be transported: to the Age of Enlightenment with its poignant love songs; to the Belle Époque with its naughty polkas; to the 1930s with the great music-hall hits; to the 1940s and 1950s with jazzy songs; to the 1960s with rive gauche chanson; and up to original compositions with the infectious swing of the 2000s.

Parisian Time Step features two Australian artists, adopted Parisians: Wendy Lee Taylor (Lido de Paris, Remembering Fred Astaire, Le Caveau de la Huchette) and Ruby Boukabou (Promenade à Paris, Le Shuffle Project, Paris Tap Crew), accompanied by pianist Philippe Petit (Swingin’ Affair, Marcel Azzola, Le Caveau de la Huchette).

This bilingual show is entertaining for both French and English speakers.
