Peet

Peet is one of the leading figures of the new Belgian scene, and is gradually conquering France! A lyricist, singer and beatmaker, he first became known within the group Le 77 before branching out on his own as a solo artist.

His writing is distinctive, poetic, sensitive and authentic. He draws on personal stories with which an entire generation can identify, on the misadventures of city life and on life stories.

Project after project, he has remained within the realm of urban music, yet he has refined a style nourished by very diverse influences and found his balance.

With his upcoming album Joyboy (27 February 2026), he returns to his love of instruments, delivering an even more personal, organic album, carried by a musical sensitivity that is ever more assured.

Round, jazzy sounds, steeped in soul and funk, can be heard throughout, but also a poppier and brighter aesthetic than before, owed in part to the talented musicians who have accompanied him for years. " The album's title comes from One Piece. "I am a huge fan of this manga.

He is a character who comes to restore order in a world that is not doing well. I wouldn't describe myself exactly like that. " Literally "joyful boy", Joyboy becomes here a metaphor: finding inner peace, keeping hope despite doubts, becoming an adult.

In complete sincerity, eyes turned towards the sky. Through these new tracks, Peet questions his doubts, explores his bonds with those close to him, invites us on a journey, addresses the hazards of his life as an artist and speaks of resilience.
