Piano Revenge Days Île Saint-Louis celebrates today's piano with 7 concerts and 35 international artists. The festival opens on 13 April with an exclusive performance by Anna Bondareva, composer, pianist and artistic director and founder of Piano Revenge.
Her commitment to contemporary creation and artistic independence gives this new edition its impetus and its identity. Pianists and composers will present their own works, most of them still unheard by Parisian audiences.
Staying true to its independent spirit, the festival nurtures freedom of creation, dialogue between cultures and the diversity of musical writing.
This edition will also give particular prominence to a number of female artists, whose worlds and sensibilities will fully contribute to the richness and distinctiveness of the programme.
Conceived by and for artists, Piano Revenge champions a living vision of the acoustic piano, open to new voices, unexpected encounters and the most diverse forms of musical expression.
