Overview
Primitive Ring at Le Ferrailleur
Hailing from Los Angeles, Primitive Ring brings together three of the sharpest blades on the city's rock scene: Charles Moothart (long-time collaborator of Ty Segall, Fuzz, Gøggs), Bert Hoover (Hooveriii) and Jon Modaff (Frankie and the Witch Fingers).
Suffice to say, this is not just another power trio, but three exceptional songwriters who know how to deliver visceral rock like no one else.
Following a series of well-received singles on labels such as In the Red, Fuzz Club, and Reverberation Appreciation Society, the band released a debut album in May 2026 that exceeds all expectations, blending wild garage rock, proto-metal riffs and raw energy.
On the occasion of their first European tour, which brings them to Le Ferrailleur on 19 February, Primitive Ring is, without a doubt, establishing itself as one of the fiery new faces of the Californian underground.
