In “PRESQUE VRAI” (Almost True), PV takes us on an ode to imagination where the solitary child he once was becomes an adult who confronts his flaws and difficulties with sincerity and a great deal of self-mockery.
At the heart of the story is a family as eccentric as it is unexpected, including an alcoholic sister, a mother who tries to look after everyone as best she can, an overly frank “sandwich” sister, and a Portuguese father who is both gruff and grumpy.
A family whose reality sometimes seems to surpass his childhood imagination. Between confidences, self-deprecation, and communicative energy, PV delivers a show that is as touching as it is hilarious.
