Overview
Presented by La Comédie de Metz. Caught between stress, temptations, catastrophes and uncontrollable desires, an ordinary man confronts an absurd daily routine and tries to survive... His only recourse: calling upon Schopenhauer for help!
A reflection of who we sometimes are in our everyday lives, caught between the routine of his work and the spectacle of the world around him—catastrophes, wars, epidemics—this character gradually plunges into burnout and a downward spiral that he tries to cope with as best he can.
Between existential crises and slapstick situations, this wavering ordinary man draws us along with him like in a mirror, in this funny, quirky, and deeply human comedy about our everyday contradictions.
