Du Couscous à L'Elysée

Sam, a simple telesales adviser for a major household appliance retailer, sees his life turned upside down when Célia, a political adviser, offers him an extraordinary destiny: becoming the next President of the Republic. And this despite his status as the son of immigrants.

At a breakneck pace, "Du Couscous à l'Elysée" dismantles the clichés one by one and explores the behind-the-scenes world of politics with a generous dose of humour.

Célia is ready to do anything to make Sam the ideal candidate, and their unlikely duo is set to shake up the political landscape. The play shines a light on the sometimes outlandish strategies and the underhanded tricks that can be used to reach the summit of the State.

Audiences will be plunged into the inner workings of the presidential campaign, where every detail counts and where the image is carefully controlled. "Du Couscous à l'Élysée" is a madcap comedy about politics and its absurdities, while also tackling current and important themes.

All in a joyful, dynamic atmosphere.
