Sofie Sörman Quartet
Singer Sofie Sörman and Canadian-born drummer and composer Karl Jannuska have been making music together for twenty years.
Overview
Singer Sofie Sörman and Canadian-born drummer and composer Karl Jannuska have been making music together for twenty years.
The two Paris-based musicians have focused on Sofie's project in previous collaborations, but this time the repertoire has been written by Karl specifically for Sofie and her crystalline voice.
Hypnotic jazz meets ethereal pop in these compositions, which evoke dream-like journeys to places both real and imaginary.
