Sosie2

Blending political fiction, cabaret and cartoon, a production as burlesque as it is biting. Its target? The sham of a democracy in which communication and show have replaced sincerity.

On the eve of a crucial election, Cassandre, the favourite candidate, is poisoned to death. She must be replaced urgently and in secret: twin, lookalike, ghost, photocopy? Every option is considered. Between power play and pretence, this zany comedy explores the illusion of authenticity and the constant mise en abyme of identities. You will be taken on a journey through personal reflections and universal quests, in a cabaret atmosphere with cartoon and musical references. This show humbly attempts to save humanity through disguise and the absurd. Vote Cassandre!

The press says: "great intelligence in this political comedy […], the staging is brilliant, skilful, dynamic […] actors who play nonchalance with precision […], just enough to walk the razor's edge of this explosive play which handles humour without caution and ends up finding a meaning for it. Both delightful and salutary" JLE / Club et concert
