At ten years old, Oscar already knows the awkward silences of adults, the stricken faces of doctors and the clumsy visits of his parents. What he can bear least? Being kept in the dark about the truth. Fortunately, Mamie-Rose is no ordinary lady.

A former wrestler, she possesses a formidable weapon: an imagination capable of turning each day into ten years of existence. An adventure then begins, as crazy as it is tender, peopled with friendships, a first love, quarrels, reconciliations and letters written to God.

Within a few days, Oscar will learn to live. And, without knowing it, he will teach the adults around him to live in their turn.

Adapted from the famous novel by Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt, which became a huge international success, Oscar et la Dame Rose is a stirring hymn to life, carried by luminous humour and infinite delicacy.

A universal story you leave with a smile on your lips and tears in your eyes, but above all, with a fierce desire deep inside to love life. Author: Éric-Emmanuel Schmitt Actress: Carole BARBIER Director: Nicolas Delas Assistant director: Cha GODARD
