Overview
The Australian Pink Floyd Show stops off at Arkea Arena to recreate the stage and musical universe of Pink Floyd.
Formed in Adelaide in 1988, The Australian Pink Floyd Show has established itself as the world's leading tribute band dedicated to the British group. Also known as Aussie Floyd, the ensemble faithfully reproduces the complex compositions of David Gilmour, Roger Waters, Richard Wright, Nick Mason and Syd Barrett, covering their entire discography from their psychedelic beginnings to the major concept albums of the 1970s and 1980s.
On stage, the band delivers a comprehensive set that goes beyond mere sound reproduction. The show incorporates an ambitious visual setup featuring elaborate laser displays, projections on a giant circular screen and inflatable structures characteristic of the original band's aesthetic. This technical precision recreates the atmosphere of Pink Floyd's major historical tours.
This date is particularly aimed at long-time progressive rock fans as well as audiences wishing to discover the stage scale of these compositions within the setting of a large concert venue. The public will be welcomed at Arkea Arena, a venue tailored for this type of visual and acoustic deployment.
