An open jam session for musicians and singers from the expat community, held on a barge at La Dame de Canton in Paris's 13th arrondissement.
The Expats Jam is an open jam session for anyone who wants to play or sing with other participants. Everyone can come with their own instrument or voice, and musicians without equipment can use the piano, drum kit, two microphones and a bass provided. Guitars are welcome, and it is possible to plug in instruments brought by participants.
The repertoire is open: pop, rock, Middle Eastern music or other styles are all welcome. The event takes place in the atmosphere of a barge, where food and drinks are available on site.
The evening is aimed at the expat community, but French people are also invited to take part, both to meet these participants and to practise English.
