Overview
The Olllam will be in Paris on October 1st, 2026 to set Bal Chavaux vibrating between Irish traditional music, jazz and post-rock. The Olllam is a band that fuses traditional Irish music with the modern energy of Detroit jazz and post-rock.
Led by uilleann pipes player John McSherry, the band also includes Joe Dart (Vulfpeck), Michael Shimmin, Ross Ainslie, Seán O'Meara and Joe Hettinga.
Following the acclaimed album Elegy, rewarded by RTÉ Radio 1 as Best Band, The Olllam collaborated with GRAMMY Award-nominated producer Zedd, shared the stage in Belfast with actor Anthony Boyle (House of Guinness on Netflix), and recently completed a landmark American tour in November 2025.
From ancient airs to futuristic soundscapes, The Olllam doesn't just keep tradition alive: it reinvents it.
