Overview
Thomas Kahn, a singer whose personal story is marked by intense emotions, is renowned for his distinctive voice and his qualities as an interpreter. Steeped in soul, he finds in this music the values of transmission, sensitivity and warmth, along with the tales of ordinary life.
His voice recalls the spicy inflections of Otis Redding or Lee Fields, and on a calmer register, it is Ben Harper who drifts into the listener's imagination.
His universe is also shaped by reggae, through which Thomas Kahn built himself: The Gladiators and their legendary bassist Clinton Fearon, Patrice, Toots, or Ken Booth, whose voice and soul spirit fit quite logically within the vocal range of his own formation.
