Typhee

Self-taught and passionate, Typhée decides to fully commit to music in 2024 with a clear goal: to make his mark on Marseille. For 2025 he obliges himself to release a track every two weeks. He chains single releases, features and content shoots over 10 months at a relentless pace.

He roams Marseille and collaborates with the new emerging scene that is changing the style of Marseille rap. You will find him alongside Eniah, L'as, Mehdi Miklo, Garrinsha, Khara and many others.

Goodbye to Jul-style type beats: the new Marseille is sunny, full of melancholy, with a well-judged touch of melody, and that is what characterises Typhee's style.

Originally from Beausoleil in Marseille's 4th arrondissement (the start of the northern neighbourhoods), Typhee delivers a discourse full of authenticity about life in the neighbourhood, his doubts and his romantic relationships.

Far from inventing a character, Typhee opens up, and over a melody he delivers raw messages or well-crafted punchlines (like any good Marseillais). Y, which confirms his artistic progress and sees him begin to work with renowned beatmakers such as Rosalie du 38 and P2winder.

DeSouza, another emerging Marseille artist, also appears on it. A more complete project is in preparation for late 2026, and promising opportunities on the horizon make it worth remembering the name Typhee and seeing him before everyone else.
