“C’est une vie bizarre qui nous attend. Ça, on le sait depuis longtemps.”

Fortunately, to make sense of this bizarre life, Florian Vinayagam Bertonnier has created an alter ego: it is no longer just the teenager originally from Réunion Island who grew up in Picardy speaking to you, but Thx4Crying, an artist whose songs are saving graces—dark, cathartic lyrics wrapped in a soothing lightness. Deeply personal yet universal, their self-titled 9-track debut album blends electronic and intimate sounds, where the artist's pure vocals meet overdriven guitars, hyperpop influences, and club beats. On stage, Thx4Crying will present a brand new show, a new performance era that follows on from a rapidly expanding project, ahead of the release of a new EP in September 2026, promising to further extend the artist's emotional and sonic exploration.
