Vanille - Tournée
Vanille invites us to open our eyes and perceive the light, even where shadow lingers.
Overview
Vanille invites us to open our eyes and perceive the light, even where shadow lingers. For her third album, she returns to the essentials, between pure emotion and the magic of the moment.
Her sun-drenched pop blends French chanson, Latin rhythms, African blues and bossa nova, drawing as much on Brel, Barbara and Souchon as on Caetano Veloso, João Gilberto and Seu Jorge.
With Alex (Synapson), she creates an organic, luminous sound, where voice-and-guitar and electronic textures come together naturally. Collaborations with Flavia Coelho, Vincha, Wladimir Pariente and Philippe Baden enrich a sensitive, vibrant and deeply felt album.
'Regarde', 'Balance', 'Ce n'est que de l'eau' and 'Liens du cœur' form a bath of light and hope, carried by a delicate, airy and deeply human voice.
