Overview
VERB is a jazz group born from love at first sight between three musicians during a jam session. The three musicians share a unique moment and decide to meet up regularly.
Rehearsals multiply and, at the end of a residency, the repertoire, made up entirely of original compositions, is put together. The trio drew inspiration from the greats, from Keith Jarrett's trio to Oscar Peterson, via Bill Evans or Chick Corea.
Since the group's formation in 2022, it has performed in France, Belgium and Switzerland at several festivals (the Roman theatre of Jazz à Vienne, Crest Jazz, Cosmojazz, Tournai Jazz, Jazz sur la plage…) and venues (Duc des Lombards in Paris, Maison de la Culture d'Amiens…).
VERB is the winner of the Rezzo Jazz showcase competition in Vienne 2023 and a finalist in the 2025 national jazz competition at La Défense.
