" The artists in the exhibition "Clair-obscur" play alchemists: they are interested in the four elements – fire, water, air, and earth – and use astonishing materials (charcoal, precious stones, objects, microbes) to create works that metamorphose and challenge our perception.
Accompanied by a mediator, children and adults explore the "Clair-obscur" exhibition by participating in guided observation games and hands-on activities.
Paintings, sculptures, installations, videos, and photographs reveal themselves differently before our eyes: a character becomes a strange creature, an everyday object seems to come straight from a fantasy world, a light makes a shape appear or disappear.
Here, nothing is quite what we believe we see... and that's the magic!
